CHARACTER TRAITS ( If you are caught looking at other websites, your laptop will be taken from you and you will have to do the work as homework)

You can present your work as the following: Slides, Kahoot Game, Jeopardy, Video, Rap.  If there is an additional way you would like to present your work please see me.  Except for the Torah Verses, there is NO copy or pasting)  You must incorporate the essential questions into your presentations.

Read and summarize the actions of your character.  You must include at least 3 examples.  You need to share which Parsha/Parshiyot,  Perek/Chapter and Pasuk/Verse the examples came from.   YOU MUST INCLUDE BOTH THE HEBREW AND ENGLISH VERSES (PESUKIM)

For example:  Rebecca was kind. She brought water for Eliezer and the camels. Parshat Lech-Lcha, Perek 4 Pasuk 13

Based on the Values you have chosen, how can they be relevant at OJCS and in your personal lives.  Provide examples how these values can be used.

 

  1. Due Friday January 24: Create a 10 minute activity for your classmates (For ex: Role-play, create a video…). 20 Points. (Please send by the end of class)

 

  1. Due Tuesday January 28: Presentations must be sent to me by the end of the class period: 30 Points

 

  1. Presentations begin Wednesday, January 29: 100 points: I must receive all presentations by January 29.

  2. How can Tanach study help me in my everyday life?
  3. What does it mean to be part of the story of Tanach and the Jewish people
  4. How can I play an active role in the story of Tanach?

 

EVIDENCE OF UNDERSTANDING

  • Students will identify a quality of a Tanach Ancestor’s that they could emulate in the world today.
  • Students will demonstrate through their presentation how they can help others.

 

THIS IS 50% OF YOUR GRADE FOR THIS TERM. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR NEED HELP, I AM AVAILABLE DURING RECESS, LUNCH, EARLY MORNING AND AFTER SCHOOL.
