Hello, I’m Jaqui Gesund-Kattan! Morah Jaqui! I come from Mexico City, and I’m 36 years old. I have 9 years of teaching experience. I worked, as a Montessori Guide, in a Montessori school within the Mexican-Jewish community, teaching Humanities and Hebrew. I’m a former member of Hashomer Hatzair, so I also served as a counselor/madrija and have training from Mexico and Israel in non-formal education.
I have a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in History, and my passions are the arts, music, history, philosophy, and education. I enjoy dancing, going to concerts, reading, hiking in nature, cycling, meditating, painting, going to museums and art galleries, practicing yoga, and having meaningful conversations.
